We bought this helmet over a year ago for our son, and it has been put through the wringer. It’s been used for biking, skateboarding, scootering, and even some ill-advised-but-enthusiastic rollerblading. It’s been dropped, scraped, and covered in dirt, and it still looks great and functions perfectly. The outer shell is incredibly tough and has protected his head from more than a few bumps and falls. The straps are still in perfect condition, and the buckle is easy enough for him to do himself. The fact that we could swap out the inner pads as his head grew was a fantastic feature.
